PrEP “I’m Ready” Video Production Series
PrEP is short for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, a once-daily pill that reduces the risk of acquiring HIV. Despite the potentially life-saving benefits of PrEP, only one in four people currently at risk for HIV use it. When our client Brunet-García Advertising created an innovative campaign for the CDC encouraging younger people, particularly those in underserved communities, to take control of their sexual health, they asked us to create a video production series capturing real stories from PrEP users. We got to know the people behind the stories so that we could write and produce engaging, cinematic portraits that spoke to an audience that is often ignored.
