Drug Overdose Harm Reduction Public Service Commercial

With opioid overdose deaths at an all-time high in 2020, the CDC commissioned the creation of a public service commercial encouraging young people to stock and carry the medication naloxone, which can reverse an overdose in minutes. We assembled a filmmaking team that worked with our agency partners to create a fresh, lively, and empowering PSA. By finding the correct visual and emotional language for our audience, we produced healthcare marketing material that delivered verisimilitude and attitude to an often hard-to-reach audience.
