FDOH Promise of Protection

How do you capture the power of unconditional love and a parent’s promise of protection to their child in a one-minute, narrative-based video? That was the challenge we dealt with when creating a public service announcement for the Florida Department of Health encouraging parents to prioritize the HepB vaccine birth dose for their newborns. Our solution was choreographing and blocking a single, continuous camera shot that immersed the viewer in the reflections and feelings of the parent-to-be. The right combination of cinematography, set design, and on-screen talent allowed us to show the outer beauty of having inner peace.
