FEMA Fire is
Following the launch of its “Up In Smoke” campaign for the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA), a division of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Brunet-Garcia Advertising was asked to expand the campaign to social media and broadcast television. We were tasked with bringing the print imagery of Brunet-García’s campaign to life.
We generated digital smoke and combined it with campaign photography to create short animations that served as a haunting reminder of what’s at stake in a home fire. We also produced a public service announcement designed to get people to think about the consequences of not having a fire safety plan. The PSA required careful technical coordination and out-of-the-box approaches in terms of camerawork and post-production. All this was done against the backdrop of coordinated compliance with USFA’s campaign communication and broadcast standards.
